“Dirty work for a fair price”
Jeff’s own website calls that line the company trademark. It is also a fairly complete description of the whole operation.
Over 20 years of Mid Michigan drain lines
Jeff’s Sewer & Drain Cleaning is a local, family owned business working out of Jackson with more than twenty years in the trade. It is a sewer and drain cleaning outfit — not a general plumbing shop, and not a franchise branch reporting to somewhere else.
That narrowness is the point. Clearing lines all day, every day, for two decades is how you learn to tell a root mat from a grease plug from a collapsed pipe before the cable has gone twenty feet in.
The phone is answered around the clock, and it is the same number whether you call it or text it. Seniors and veterans take 10% off. And the business is fully insured, which is worth checking on anyone you let near your main line.
Tarp down, machine in, line open
That is a tarp on the floor in the photo, and it is the part customers keep mentioning. Then the right machine for that pipe comes in, the cable goes to the blockage, and the line gets cut back to the wall rather than poked through.
Then it gets tested, the mess gets picked up, and you get told honestly what caused it — including if the answer is “this will be back, and here is why.”
What you will not get is a sales pitch for work you don’t need. Read the reviews: the words that keep coming up are honest, reasonable and cleaned up.
What Jeff’s doesn’t do
Septic tanks don’t get pumped here — that is a different trade and a different truck. And if the trouble turns out to be broken pipe rather than a blockage, you get told plainly what you are looking at instead of being sold a cabling job that won’t fix it.
